Why Read the Bible?

All truth is God’s truth. That means even the Buddha, Aristotle, Richard Dawkins, or the Qur’an will sometimes glimpse fragments of what is real and right.

Alfred, Lord Tennyson could write…

“’Tis better to have loved and lost / Than never to have loved at all,”

….and the line can still pierce the heart with profound truth, even though his life and poetry were marked by agnosticism, doubt, family turmoil, alcoholism, mental instability, and deep personal grief.

By common grace, God scatters genuine insights, beauty, and moral wisdom across humanity—gifts that reflect His image even in fallen people.

But the truth we find in the Bible is different. It is clean truth.

Beautiful truth.

Truth without confusion, mixture, contradiction, or limitation in scope. It is truth “all the way down” to the very foundation of reality—coherent, comprehensive, and redemptive.

Most of all, it is truth that changes lives, because it is not merely information: it is a Person.

Jesus Himself is “the way, and the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

So read the Bible.

Let the clean, living truth of Christ enter your heart and renew you from the inside out.

Read the Bible.

(You’ll never regret letting the Word made flesh speak to you directly.)
