The Agent's Mind Warp

So I got to spend a bunch of time this week with an agent who has spent time trying to do his job amidst these “protestors.” He says that his guys are going through incredible head trips.

Strangers, child hood friends, people who attended his wedding, sometimes even family members, are often expressing hatred for him and his guys.

He said people he has known his whole life have said things like they hope he dies and his baby and his wife get raped.

Horrible stuff.

He says it starts to mess with your head. Especially when your heart knows it’s doing the right thing. He said every arrest he had been a part of was of horrible criminals guilty of sometimes unspeakable crimes. He expressed thanks for posts like mine (he shows them to friends) because they remind him that there are plenty of people in America who aren’t crazy yet.

This guy is a Christian, and as they go into known gang areas where they know there are bad guys with rifles on rooftops at times, he finds comfort in the Psalms and reads passages to the agents before they do their job.

This is the world these great guys are dealing with. (And this guy is an EXCEPTIONALLY great human).

You people feeding the hatred that would wish death on a man and rape of his wife and baby need to check yourself.

YOU are the problem.

YOU are the voice of hate. Quite literally.

And YOU will answer to heaven some day for your evil.
