Precious Family of God,

It is with a heavy heart for those of us who remain here on earth that we inform you that our true sister in the faith, Brittany Duggan, has passed into glory Tuesday night.

And yet it is with joy that on this Holy Week, as we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, we realize that she is partaking of the greatest Easter celebration—one that was beyond her earthly imagination. The King is there, and she is in the presence of Almighty God. Choirs of angels are singing, and she gets to add her exquisite voice to their praises. Once again she gets to hug her father, her baby, and her grandfather, and she gets to talk face to face with saints like Ruth and Esther and King David…

What an Easter week this is for her!

And so as we weep for ourselves and for the Duggan and Moes families, we also rejoice with the saints in heaven.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

Brothers and sisters, we want you to know about those who have died. We don’t want you to be sad like other people—those who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died, but we also believe that he rose again. So we believe that God will raise to life through Jesus any who have died and bring them together with him when he comes.

Blessings,

Pastor Moes

John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Brittany’s voice is more beautiful now than ever.
